Product Showcase: SK1N [NYC Design Studio]

Join us for an engaging event celebrating the product showcase of SK1N, featuring opportunities to connect with industry peers and gain valuable technical insight. The program includes a detailed product presentation followed by a dynamic panel discussion highlighting built projects.

Our panel, comprised of an architect, a contractor, and an engineer or façade consultant will explore how SK1N integrates with other building systems, its performance benefits, and the simplicity of installation across various project types.

The event will conclude with a live Q&A session and additional networking time to continue the conversation.

SK1N is an adaptive building envelope solution suitable for installation on walls of new and existing buildings. Horizontal channel (hat) furring is installed over an assembly’s air/water control membrane before each SK1N tile is fastened at preformed holes. Each row of tiles overlaps the row below, while vertical joints are variable for maximum visual effect. SK1N is a rear ventilated rainscreen cladding system and must be installed onto a weather-resistant structural wall.
